Hello Ma'am, that is a very important question. The simple answer is, Math is not a tool, it is an inseparable part of our conscience. To explain this in detail, let's take an example of a 1 year old child. He/She will love you more if you give him/her more chocolates. It just shows that we are born with mathematical intellect and have an idea of more, less and other mathematical concepts. In everyday life, every decision that our brain takes is through a mathematical equation. But more than that, our family, our society, all functions are mathematical. No kid will start their school journey at night 12 if his school is from 10 in the morning. So it's not that we need Mathematics, ma'am, its the fact that Math is and always be with us. We just need to accept it.
