How to make a student learn the tables when he is not intrested

Hello Ma'am, let me tell you a secret. I don't remember tables as well. However, as a child I was told that multiplication is repeated addition. I have used it all my life. The trick is, don't ask the children to memorise the table. Give them the secret that you can add to find values of multiplication. However, make sure they do a lot of multiplication. That way, they will develop muscle memory of all the tables, and even without realising, they will remember the table of even larger numbers, like 37.
