A good education system focuses on nurturing the skills needed for the future - for the jobs of the future. These are 1. Higher cognitive skills (entrepreurship, innovation and creativity) 2. Emotional skills like empathy 3. Social skills including leadership. Education systems need to build character and citizens of the world who are thinking about how they can contribute.

एजुकेशन मतलब सिर्फ किताबी जानकारी नहींहोना चाहिए। पूर्व आईपीएस किरण बेदी कहती हैं, एजुकेशन चार तरह के होते हैं, पर्सनल, प्रोफेशनल, वैल्यू-बेस्ड और सोशल। आजकल स्कूलों में प्रोफेशनल एजुकेशन दिया जाता है। वैल्यू-बेस्ड और सोशल एजुकेशन आपको एक अच्छा नागरिक बनाती है। एक परफेक्ट सिटीजन के लिए इन चारों की तरह की शिक्षा जरूरी है। टीचर्स को इस तरह ट्रेन करने की जरूरत है कि वह अपने स्टूडेंट्स को सोशल लीडर्स बना सकें, उनका भविष्य निर्माण कर सके।
