Students are going through a lot right now - for young people, school isn't just for learning, it is their place for social interaction and school provides a structure. When this has been taken away, students struggle. They are also at home with parents and siblings all the time. This can be difficult especially when those relationships are not strong. Also they may not have space to be quiet and do their work. SO we need to be extra understanding. Regular check-ins via text messages and phone calls are a good way to know if they are ok.
