About

Students perform better when they are able to connect their curriculum to the real world. It is important for a student to be able to apply his/her knowledge to resolve real-world issues. The problem-based approach is a student-centred learning approach based on solving problems. This module emphasizes on how this approach helps in solving the classroom problems which are generally faced by the teachers. Some of these problems are related to student’s thinking out of the box, shyness of student’s for asking any doubt in the class and relating the content with daily life. This module discusses in detail about designing and implementing the problem-based approach for learning in the classroom. It also shows how this method is useful for students to relate the concepts to real-life problems and finding solutions to the same.
