In this module, the focus is on the point that why engagement is necessary for the students to be academically successful. It is very important for a student to identify himself/herself with the school. There are some strategies which can be implemented in order to make the students feel connected and motivated to participate in the activities taking place in the school. In this section, we will be dealing with problems like:
1. Student absenteeism
2. Low rates of academic achievement leading to lack of motivation
3. Lack of student's interest in school
4. Lack of parental interest in school affairs
